ESG Strategy Manager
I genuinely feel so lucky to work at First Central because of their approach to flexible working. Unfortunately, my mum isn't very well so I support with her care once a week. The flexible working policy allows me to work from her home on Friday's so I can support and spend time with her during the week. My line manager is very flexible about allowing me to do administrative tasks on Fridays to help balance my personal and professional needs. We also have a generous policy on home working, which empowers us to strike the right balance of office networking and home working. I strongly encourage any prospective candidates interested in flexible working, to discuss your needs with the talent team as part of your application process. If it is feasible for the job role you are applying for, they will always try their hardest to ensure your flexible working needs are met.

Fraud Team Leader
My current role as a Fraud Team Leader is in a customer facing department, I usually work from home for 3 days and from the office for 2 days with my team. I personally love the fact I can get together in person with my team 2 days a week. This allows me as a manager to build stronger working relationships with my team as well as support new starters in person. The 3 home days are equally fantastic and helpful with less travel time and more flexibility before and after work hours. This has also been a huge help with childcare options. It really has made becoming a parent and family life a lot easier.
