What support is available for career changers?

This really depends on what career you're coming from and then looking to go in to - some roles here will need specific experience and skills, so we may not be able to support someone changing careers totally straight away (it will all depend on the need within the business at that point in time), but there are a lot of roles where we can (& do) offer to candidates that don't have prior experience or knowledge.

We have an Early Careers Specialist here at First Central who is a massive advocate for apprenticeships and there are so many roles that have apprenticeships linked to them, rather than having to go to college or Uni to get the same qualification. The great thing about apprenticeships as well is that it's on the job learning so you get to see the 'real world' of work whilst also receiving a salary!

We also have a great Learning & Development Team who are so passionate about developing our colleagues, so there will always be opportunities to develop your skills, experience and learning.
